Whistleblower Investigation Report

May 10, 2018

                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for your efforts and investment to bring victory in America. We have just returned from Vienna, after attending a historical and victorious rally with True Mother. We are grateful we were able to support True Parents and our European brothers and sisters, who truly did an amazing job. It is exciting to see True Parents’ Providence going forward in leaps and bounds around the world.

As you may be aware, during the past few months, an independent National Council and Pastors Joint Review Committee has been looking into allegations made by Mr. Jonathan Park in the end of 2017. The review committee has completed its work in April, and submitted its report to the Board of Directors of HSA. The committee also released a short statement with the main conclusion, exonerating Dr. Kim and the HSA Board from any illegal or unethical activity. As I promised in my earlier letters on the subject, we’d like to now share with you the comprehensive report of the committee’s findings.

This has been a lengthy process. Our brothers and sisters from the national council and pastoral team have offered their time, sincerity, and professionalism to look into the concerns raised in the most serious manner. They have made considerable efforts to investigate the matter, to remain impartial and professional, and produced an elaborate report. I would like to thank the members of the committee for their contribution.

In addition to the report on the findings of the investigation, the committee offered a series of recommendations on governance, communication, and financial management. I assure you that these recommendations will be thoroughly reviewed and considered by the HSA Board, as we discuss how we can improve our practices and policies for the benefit of the entire organization.

We know this matter raised concerns for many members. We thank you all for your trust and patience as we saw it through. Our common ground is our shared love and commitment to further God’s providence and follow True Parents’ guidance and fulfill their vision. We hope that through this experience we can all strengthen our faith in each other, and while striving to do better as leaders, as pastors, as tribal messiahs, as brothers and sisters, we can offer Heavenly Parent and True Parents a great victory in America in 2018 and beyond.
